About Ben Mayer

My name is Benjamin Mayer (he/him)- but you can just call me Ben! I am an enthusiastic and diligent actor based in Los Angeles, CA. If there's one thing you need to know about me; it's that I am always eager and excited to work and learn from working on new productions. I am also quite the nerd, so I will jump at almost any opportunity to play characters in any on-camera or voice over production that is remotely fantastical and fictional. ​I just moved to Los Angeles, CA after landing the role as the titular character in the show "Blippi" and I am now pursuing my acting career full time!

 

That said, I am lucky enough to have gotten my start in my home state of Iowa, and I have played lead roles in numerous stage plays, feature and short films, music videos, and various other theatrical projects in Iowa. I also did several industrial videos and commercials while I was living in Iowa. Not only that, but in 2025 I had the incredible opportunity to assist multiple productions as a Producer! These included "Alien: Lost Transmission" by Connor Botts and myself, "Sub-Zero Terror" by Tarrell Christie, "Do Androids Dream" by Scott Marczewski, amongst a few others. All but "Sub-Zero Terror" are out and available on YouTube, but that will be out in the Spring of 2026! I was intimately involved in those productions and have been fortunate enough to share my creative insights as well as assisting in organizing those productions. These, along with the newer films I have starred in, will be added to my "Portfolio" page as they release.
